Catching public transport

Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.

Catching a bus

Buses deliver children to school & collect children from school at the bus stop in Addison Avenue, alongside the school. Students waiting for buses are supervised by a rostered staff member in the afternoon.  More information concerning pass entitlements, timetable and routes can be found at CDC NSW

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones

• follow speed signs

• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

• do not park in the school grounds (staff carpark).

Homezone

Homezone is a joint P&C and school program that aims to improve the safety of school drop off and pick up as well as improve the traffic flows around the school for our neighbors and community.   It’s a great service with parents and carers being able to drop off and pick up their children along the no-parking area of Duntroon Avenue with the minimum of fuss.

Users of Homezone must register with the program and are also asked to volunteer for at least one afternoon per term (3.00pm to 3.30pm) to supervise and assist children.  More information can be found on the P&C website.
