There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.
Costs to consider include:
uniforms
school books and equipment
excursions
- co-curricular activities.
Voluntary school contributions
Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.
For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.
Financial assistance
If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.
Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
School fees
Term Fees
Fees are payable throughout the term to cover the costs of extra activities such as excursions and other special events. In most cases these fees are invoiced during the term within which the event occurs. In some cases payments need to be returned to the class teacher or to the school office by a particular date prior to the special activity.
Student Assistance
Parents requiring assistance should seek confidential support from the principal. Where possible, the school will support families, which for whatever reason are unable to meet the ongoing costs incurred in extra curricular activities.
Voluntary Contributions
The Roseville Public School Parents' and Citizens' Association actively raises funds each year to support the educational programs of the school. These donations can be made at any time, but are normally collected in Term 1. The Welcome to a Community Focus letter provides more information about the activities of the school's P&C.
Parent Online Payments
Payments can be made using either a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card.
Click the Make a payment link to enter the secure Westpac page.
When you enter the Make an Online Payments you must enter
- The Student Registration Number (this is the 9 digit number to the left of the first child’s name)
- The fields marked with a green asterisk for the first child
- Given Name (eg: Tom & Jerry if more than one child)
- Surname
- Date of Birth
- There is no need to enter Class, Ref. or Invoice
These details need to be entered each time you make a payment as student information is not held within the payment system. No student details are given to Westpac. You must also enter the details about who is paying.
This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured in a secure manner. These details are not passed back to the school.
There are many options available for filling out the payment section but the PREFERRED METHOD by Roseville Public school for paying the term invoice is to
- Tick the box marked Other
- In the payment description box please write: FAMILY NAME paid in full.
- In the payment amount please write the FULL amount that you are to pay.
- (This is the total payable for the family, covering all children.)
- Then click on the Next Button to continue
You have the ability to check and change any details of the payment before the payment is processed. You can print your own receipts or have the receipt emailed to your email account. This gives you immediate proof that you have paid for the item.
There is no need to email your receipt to the school as this will be sent to us by Westpac.
The next morning, details of the payments are passed to the school where they will be matched against your child/children’s account. As a receipt has been issued from the payment page a further receipt will not be issued by us.
We hope this method will streamline payments and save parents time.
