Edenborough library

Our school library is called the Edenborough Library and it is named after Grosvenor Edenborough (1884-1957) for his activities and contributions to our school and the wider Roseville community.

The fully equipped library is the centre of our school. Students are taught to access information effectively from a variety of sources and locations.

Fundraising by the P&C ensures that children have access to the latest fiction and non fiction material. Students also have the opportunity to assist in the library as monitors, assisting with borrowing, shelving and other tasks.

Roseville Public School's library has resources for students and teachers.

It is connected to the school's computer network, enabling access to the library inquiry module from all classrooms.

Roseville's library has undergone many changes over the last few years. However, this year the new interior design development has seen another step in making the library more appealing to the children reflecting the changing times.

Alongside the new look, the library has 16 computers for students to use during class work for Inquiry, Research and Skills, and lunch times.

Please see the Borrowing page to view Library Borrowing Days.

Opening hours

The library is open during lunch times for students to research, read a book quietly, draw or play quiet games.

At other times of each day the library is used by classes K-6 for specific library skills lessons.
